Dr. Saleh create new knowledge through research and closed study of relevant population and disseminate this knowledge to the various communities. He engaged in the teaching of several courses, such as, wound care, applied research, community health, medical and surgical nursing, and in instructional development.
Dr Saleh is one of the pioneers of wound care practice in Jordan and The Arab World. He used to innovate and found wound care clubs, wound care associations, and the founder of wound care specialty in Jordan.
Dr. Saleh had authored and co-authored more than 50 publications in international peer reviewed journals in the field of nursing and health including tissue viability, education, management, informatics, critical care, and research. Dr Saleh has been highly cited by Google Scholar and had H-index of 23 for more than 300 citations. Dr Saleh trained hundreds of nurses, physicians, health care professionals in the fields of wound care, research, and health statistics. Dr Saleh supervised more than 20 PhD and Master Students in several health specialties. Also Dr Saleh contributed the establishment of several health courses such as Palliative and home care, Oncology, Pain management, Infection Control, Developing Quality indicators, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research and Health Statistics.
